Local IT Support/ IT Specialist

Location: New York | Full-time
ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Local IT Support to provide on-site IT support and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in our local office.

You will work as part of a global IT team, supporting end users, devices, and local infrastructure, while following global IT standards and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide hands-on IT support for employees (hardware, software, access)
  • Set up and maintain laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Troubleshoot endpoint, application, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain local office network (LAN/WiFi, routers, basic firewall tasks)
  • Work with the global IT team on identity and access requests
  • Ensure devices meet company security standards
  • Support local IT projects and rollouts
  • Manage IT inventory (devices, accessories, licenses)
  • Escalate complex issues to global IT when needed
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support / helpdesk
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows / macOS environments
  • Familiarity with:
    • Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
    • MDM tools (Intune – advantage)
    • Google Workspace / SaaS tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WiFi, routers)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in global companies
  • Familiarity with security practices (endpoint security, access control)
  • Experience with CrowdStrike – advantage
